Corporate Social Responsibility

At FGS we think it’s important to help our local communities and do our part to ensure everyone has the same opportunities.

FGS sponsors two youth sport teams, which are both very close to our hearts – South Weald Cricket team in Essex, UK and the San Giljan Water polo team based in St. Julians, Malta.

We understand how important sport is to the youth of today. The skills learned playing sports and the physical activity can contribute significantly to the overall development of individuals and greatly improve their mental health.

We think it’s unfair that the under privileged kids, should have to suffer in this living crisis and miss out playing sports based on something that is out of their control. We want to make sure the local communities can afford to play sports and buy necessary equipment to be part it.

As part of setting up in Gibraltar we have now started supporting the Special Needs Action Group (SNAG). The message is clear, and everyone should have the same rights and opportunities, no matter of their disabilities.  SNAG are constantly encouraging positive changes, being their voice and challenging ‘the system’ to ensure equal rights and opportunities for all.

SNAG came to our launch dinner event with Paul Parker at Vault 13. All the guests learnt what this great charity does and donated money to help towards their many initiatives and support programmes.

We are looking forward to our continued partnership with them and proud to be supporting them.

If you would like to find out more about SNAG, please follow them on their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/SNAGgib/
